Yame Sencha Okuhikari - 50g

A high grade organically grown sencha from the Yame area, which produces the best teas in Fukuoka Prefecture.

The leaves of this tea are picked purely from the bushes of the Okuhikari cultivar, which is suitable for the mountainous areas where this sencha comes from. The leaves are processed using the fukamushi method - a longer, deeper steaming process.

The aroma of the dry leaves is freshly grassy, ​​while the steeped leaves reveal sweet creamy caramel notes. The infusion has an intense umami flavor and a long aftertaste.
