Kagoshima Kate-Benifuki - 50g

Kate-Benifuki (Benifuuki) is a pure natural Japanese green tea developed by Japanese scientists at the Institute for the Development of Healthy Foods. It was registered with the Ministry of Agriculture of Japan in 1993.

This green tea is organically grown in the Kagoshima region of Japan, is known for its characteristic taste and is suitable for everyday and long-term drinking.

It was created by crossing Japanese and Indian varieties of tea plants, which gave it a more robust taste and a higher proportion of some catechins, including EGCG.

Our customers report that drinking Benifuuki tea regularly helps them with seasonal allergies. This tea contains methylated epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG3Me), which is being studied for its potential effects in alleviating allergy symptoms.

EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) is being studied for its properties in the field of allergic reactions. However, this information is not approved as a health claim under Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006.
