The Saemidori cultivar, which translates to "bright green", is characterized by a light green infusion and a high concentration of amino acids, making it the ideal cultivar for producing Gyokuro with an intense umami taste and a pleasant sweetness.

Thanks to the traditional shading for four weeks and masterful processing, you can taste an excellent tea with intense umami and a long sweet aftertaste.

The "Hon" designation is given to Japanese teas that have been shaded using the traditional method using rice straw.
