We believe that even small, everyday choices make a difference. That is why we strive to take a responsible approach to selecting our teas, using materials, packing orders and caring for our surroundings.

We see sustainability as a journey of continuous improvement, guided by respect for nature and the people behind every cup of tea.

Responsibly Sourced Teas

When selecting our teas, we consider not only their quality and origin, but also how they are grown. We work with tea growers whose work we know and take an interest in their approach to soil health and the environment. Our selection also includes teas grown using organic and environmentally friendly farming methods.

Less Waste, More Reuse

We offer loose-leaf teas and strive to avoid unnecessary packaging. Clean, undamaged cardboard boxes, paper and other suitable packaging materials in which our goods arrive are reused when packing customer orders. This extends their useful life and helps reduce waste.

Electric Vehicle Deliveries

We have been delivering orders using an electric vehicle for more than ten years. It is one of the practical steps we take to reduce the direct environmental impact of our day-to-day operations.

Waste Sorting and Recycling

We aim to handle packaging and waste responsibly. We work with ENVI-PAK and support the sorting and recycling of packaging materials.

Making Room for Nature

We care for the greenery around our shop House of Teas and strive to create a more welcoming environment for people and urban wildlife alike. We believe nature deserves a place even in the heart of the city.

Small Steps, Continuous Improvement

We draw inspiration from the Japanese philosophy of kaizen (改善) – the principle of continuous, incremental improvement. Sustainability is no exception: we are always looking for ways to do things a little better.

A more responsible approach starts with everyday choices. And those choices matter to us.
