The leaves are nicely and evenly processed into dark needles with a deep sweet aroma that reminds of a coniferous forest.

After the first infusion, a sweet floral to fruity aroma appears. The yellow-green and distinctly sweet infusion is more reminiscent of kabusechu, which, combined with the aroma of the forest, may be an indicator of the natural shading and location of the plantation near the forest.

This sencha is made from the Saemidori and Okumidori cultivars, both of which are rich in umami flavor. Thanks to this, it is very complex, playful and leaves a pleasant, medium-lasting sparkling aftertaste.
