Leaves of this excellent sencha from Uji look like dark green needles of varying lengths and thickness with a pleasant fresh grassy aroma. After the first infusion, citrus tones appear after the delicate grassy aroma. The infusion has a clear yellow-green colour. It is pleasantly grassy and slightly sweet and will delight with every sip.

This Sencha is a blend of several cultivars, of which the Yamakai cultivar is the most dominant. This one stands out for its intensity of aroma, in which citrus, yuzu, blackberry leaves and gentle woodiness can be found.
