Detailed Description

Exclusive Sencha from the organically grown Tsuyuhikari cultivar from the Kawane region in Shizuoka Prefecture. This is a rarity, as this cultivar represents less than 1% of Japanese production.

The leaf is dark green, shiny, shaped into nice long needles. The infusion is clear, light green, Hikari means light in translation. Floral notes appear in the aroma of the leaves. The taste is delicious and balanced. The aftertaste is sweet, juicy with a medium duration.

This tea is only available in limited quantities. In our opinion, this is the best sencha from our current offer from the Shizuoka region.
