Detailed Description

Exclusive Sencha from the Okumidori cultivar from Shizuoka Prefecture grown at an altitude of 600 m.a.s.l.. The Okumidori cultivar is a cross bred from Yabukita and Shizuoka No. 16 in 1974. Midori means green.

The leaf is dark green, glossy, shaped into nice long needles. The infusion is clear, light green. There are beautiful grassy notes in the scent of the leaves. The taste is delicious and balanced with traces of umami. The aftertaste is sweet, juicy with a medium duration.

This tea is only available in limited quantity.
