Sencha Harumidori Exclusive

Exclusive Sencha from the organically grown Harumidori cultivar, sourced from a young garden in the Kawane region of Shizuoka Prefecture.

This is a relatively new cultivar, representing less than 1% of Japanese tea production. Harumidori was developed by crossing the Kanayamidori and Yabukita cultivars.

The leaves are dark green, glossy, and shaped into elegant, long needles. The aroma of the dry leaves reveals floral notes. Once steeped, the leaves exude a delightful fragrance of floral honey and caramel. The infusion is clear and light green. The taste is exquisite, rounded, and harmonious.

This tea is available in limited quantities and, in our opinion, ranks among the finest Sencha offerings in our collection this year.
