Mao Feng is the highest grade of tea and originates from the Meng Ding Mountains.
It is made from the youngest tea buds, including the tips (the buds covered with white "down"), and is processed by steaming, giving it a distinct dark green color and characteristics similar to Japanese green teas.
The tea has a full, fresh flavor with light fruity and grassy notes, and a pleasant sweet aftertaste reminiscent of the climate in which it was grown.
