Manayupa is a traditional medicinal herb native to the Peruvian Andes, where it has been used in folk medicine for centuries. The word 'Manayupa' in the Quechua language means 'its uses are endless', indicating its wide range of healing properties.
Manayupa is also often referred to as "Hierba de la mujer" (herb for women), "Pucamama" (Mother Earth). It grows in the high altitudes of the Peruvian Andes, in clean and non-industrialized places. It is a low, branching plant with delicate leaves and tiny purple or pinkish flowers.
Dosage: 1 - 2 tablespoons (about 5 grams) per 1 litre of water. Allow to infuse for 5 to 10 minutes and sip warm throughout the day.
Warning: Manayupa is not recommended for pregnant women as it may affect hormonal balance. It may cause allergic reactions in sensitive people, especially if they are allergic to plants in the Fabaceae family.
Long-term use: Long-term use of Manayupa should be consulted with a specialist to avoid side effects.
