Hercampuri is a medicinal plant native to the Peruvian Andes. This plant is one of the most important herbs in traditional Andean medicine.
It is a small plant with delicate leaves and tiny purple flowers. It grows at high altitudes (3,000-4,500 m) in the Peruvian Andes.
Dosage: 1 - 2 tablespoons (about 5 grams) per 1 litre of water. Allow to infuse for 5 to 10 minutes and sip warm throughout the day.
Warning: Hercampuri is not recommended for pregnant and lactating women and people who have stomach ulcers, gallbladder inflammation, or obstructed bile ducts.
Long-term use: At high doses, it may cause gastric irritation or over-stimulation of the digestive tract. Long-term use should be consulted with a specialist.
