Chuchuhuasa is a tree native to the Amazon rainforests of South America, particularly Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia. It has been used in traditional medicine by indigenous communities for centuries. The bark is most commonly used, as it contains a variety of bioactive compounds.
It grows in the lowland regions of the Amazon rainforest. The tree can grow up to 30 meters tall and has reddish-brown bark that is very hard.
It is also commonly used to pickle it in alcohol (called aguardiete). Maceration produces a dark red drink that is popular for its energizing properties.
Dosage: 1 - 2 tablespoons (approx. 5 grams) per 1 liter of water. Boil for 15 to 20 minutes and drink warm throughout the day.
If you are taking medication or have health problems, consult a doctor before starting use.

Long-term use: Excessive use may can lead to stomach irritation, so you should stick to the recommended doses.
