Traditional Tibetan dark tea (Hei Cha 黑茶, literally "black tea"), pressed into a brick weighing approximately 650 g. Kangzhuan tea is a renowned type of Tibetan tea, produced according to traditional Tibetan recipes and ancient methods at the Ya'an tea factory in China's Sichuan province.

The tea leaves originate from the misty Yunwu Shan mountains, harvested at altitudes above 1,200 m. Production is based on traditional processing and ageing methods, through which the tea gradually acquires its distinctive character.

Tibetan tea has been an integral part of daily life in the Himalayan region for centuries, distinguished by its rich heritage and unmistakable place in Tibetan tea culture.
