Shizuoka Gokou Matcha is a ceremonial grade of finely ground powder of Japanese green tea, specially processed from shade-grown tea leaves.

This premium matcha is made from Gokou cultivar, grown in the Shizuoka region, near Mount Fuji.

The high-quality tea leaves guarantee a full and balanced taste. The bushes are shaded in the traditional way for one month before harvesting. Matcha is traditionally used in the Japanese Chanoyu tea ceremony and is also suitable for modern preparation methods, including lattes or cold drinks.
