Matcha Okumidori Set

Matcha Okumidori Set contains everything you need for the proper and traditional preparation of matcha tea. A beautiful, handmade white chawan, a bamboo tea whisk - chasen, a bamboo tea spoon - chashaku and of course high-quality organically grown matcha from Shizuoka made from the Okumidori cultivar.

Each chawan is an original and therefore may differ slightly from the photo.

Shizuoka Matcha Okumidori
This delicious Matcha from Shizuoka is a ceremonial grade of finely ground Japanese matcha green tea, made from the Okumidori cultivar. It offers an exceptionally smooth, delicate flavour profile and a pleasant, fresh green colour. The leaves are grown in the scenic Shizuoka region, near Mount Fuji, and the tea bushes are shaded in the traditional way for one month before harvesting.
Its softness makes it suitable for people who are just starting to drink matcha.
