Dian Hong Mao Feng is a higher grade of red tea from the Simao area in Yunnan. It comes from high altitude organic tea gardens (1300 - 1800 m above sea level).

The leaves for making this tea come from the spring harvest and are from trees not bushes, thus it is more complex and can withstand more infusions. The colour of the infusion is orange-red. The aroma is sweet and intense with the typical scent of dried apricots, malt and forest honey. The palate is full-bodied, distinctly fruity with a lingering, sweetish aftertaste.
