Tea grown in the northern part of the Ruhuna region, near the legendary town of Ratnapura, renowned for its gemstone mining.

Here, on the edge of the Sinharaja Rainforest, the ideal conditions for growing tea plants give teas with a unique character.

The tea consists of narrow, delicate leaves with golden tips. The reddish-brown infusion has a smooth, creamy character with a well-balanced flavour featuring notes of rare woods, honey, and chocolate.
