Ying Xiang is a relatively young, bright green, lightly oxidised Taiwanese oolong. It was developed from the Qing Xin (Chin Shin) cultivar and officially registered in 2004.
The steamed leaves give off a stunning floral aroma. Initially, the scent is dominated by Ylang Ylang blossoms, while later infusions highlight the fragrance of rose flowers. The infusion offers a rounded, balanced flavour. The aftertaste is long with a pleasant sweetness on the palate.
