Tibetian Jin Jian Tea - 650 g

A traditional Tibetan dark tea (Hei Cha 黑茶, literally “black tea”), compressed into a brick weighing approximately 650 g. Kangzhuan tea is a well-known type of Tibetan tea, produced according to traditional Tibetan recipes and time-honoured methods at the Ya’an tea manufactory in Sichuan Province, China.

The tea leaves are harvested at altitudes above 1,200 metres in the misty Yunwu Shan mountains. The traditional production methods include carefully controlled processing and ageing, through which the tea gradually develops its distinctive qualities.

Tibetan tea has been an integral part of everyday life in the Himalayan regions for centuries. It holds a special place in Tibetan tea culture, reflecting a rich heritage and a long tradition of tea drinking.
