“Wonder Tea” from the renowned Gopaldhara Garden once again confirms why it is often described as the “champagne of teas”.
This tea captures the moment when the highest slopes awaken from their winter dormancy, releasing the very best of their strength.

After a long winter, this year’s leaves display an exceptionally high level of minerality and essential oils. The 2026 harvest presents an even brighter and cleaner cup than in previous years.

A blend of AV2, P312 and B157 cultivars creates a perfect synergy in Wonder Tea. While AV2 contributes its signature floral elegance, the other two cultivars bring structure and a refined fruitiness.

The leaves were plucked from a section of the garden with over 20 years of heritage, where the bushes have reached an ideal balance between the vibrant energy of youth and the depth of mature roots. Thanks to the precise hand-plucking of the finest silver tips (two leaves and a bud), the cup reveals no bitterness—only the pure essence of spring in the Himalayas.

This year’s harvest delivers an exceptionally clean and luminous profile, the result of a unique combination of high altitude and meticulous processing.

The aroma is led by noble woody notes, seamlessly evolving into an intoxicating bouquet of white flowers, ripe cherries, and exotic mango. Once infused and allowed to cool slightly, the leaves release a delicate floral fragrance.

The taste is smooth, rounded, and complex, with a subtle balsamic undertone that leaves a long-lasting, sweet finish on the palate—without any trace of astringency.
